Charles Franklin "Slick" Parker, 83, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Henry County Health & Rehab in Paris.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Shane Butler, Benjamin Lattus, James Carson Parker, Austin Goodman, Phillip Uzzle and Chad Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Parker, Jeff Franks, Ronnie White, Daryl White and J.P. Amberg

Charles was born November 24, 1941, in Obion County, son of the late O.B. and Mattie (Riley) Parker. He married Lois (Stowe) Parker September 4, 1961. She preceded him in death March 19, 2018. Charles had been employed as a farmer and a self employed bulldozer operator. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and pulling pranks on people. Charles was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Hulin of Senath, Missouri and Cindy Lyle of Springville; four grandchildren, Shane Butler and wife Kimmy of Union City, Benjamin Lattus and wife Christian of Hickman, Kentucky, Laken Lewis and husband Zech of Union City and James Carson Parker of Hickman, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Addison Butler and Tatum Lewis both of Union City; and one brother, Glen Parker and wife Mary of Hickman, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lawana Gail Parker ; two sisters, Betty Sue Cruce and Helen Stovall; and three brothers, Steve Parker, Allen Parker and Bobby Dan Parker .
