Obituary

Bobby Dan Parker, 83, of Union City passed away 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home.

Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Friday at First Church of God in Union City. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.

Visitation will be held at First Church of God from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bobby was born November 19, 1938, in Obion County, son of the late O.B. and Mattie (Riley) Parker. He married Suzy (Simmons) Parker November 29, 1959. She preceded him in death March 1, 2022. Bobby was a retired farmer and served in the United States Army.

He is survived by four daughters, Vicki Parker of Henderson, Elaine Piatt (Chad) of Union City, Darlene McMaster (Justin) of Union City and Beth Wicker (Jerry) Bradenton, Florida; two brothers, Charles "Slick" Parker and Glen Parker (Mary) all of Hickman, Kentucky; one sister, Gorgia Parker of Fulton, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Brandi Marie Alexander (Kenneth), Casey Lynn Jenkins (Kwame), Shonna Rachelle Tart (Dustin), Kristen Deeanne Johnson (Cannon), Daryl Lynn Parker, Ethan Thomas Lawson (Mary), Kyla Brooke Vise (Blake Garner), Katherine Garcia (Kyle) and Matthew Wicker (Stephanie); and twenty great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Lea Parker; one granddaughter, Ali Bevis; two sisters, Betty Sue Cruce and Helen Stovall; and two brothers, Steve Parker and Allen Parker.
