Zachary David "Zach" Buchanan, 18, of Union City passed away Thursday morning, June 5, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at Woodland Mills First Baptist Church. Brother Shaun White, Brother Jason Pate and Brother Carl Kizer will officiate. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery near Rives.

Visitation will be held at Woodland Mills First Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Zach was born February 27, 2007, in Memphis, son of Jason and Amanda (Robinson) Buchanan. He had complete his junior year at Obion County Central High School. Zach was a member of Woodland Mills First Baptist Church and the youth group. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing video games. Zach was employed at Domino's in Union City and enjoyed fishing with his Dad.

He is survived by his parents, Jason and Amanda Buchanan of Union City; two sisters, Hailey Elizabeth Buchanan and Kaitlyn Nicole Buchanan both of Union City; his grandparents, Keith and Jan Vinson of Kenton, Jerry and Sue Buchanan of Troy and Patrick and Linda Robinson of Union City; and his beloved dog, Stache.
