Obituary

Mrs. Wilma Lee Morris, 95, of Union City passed away 2:15 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2026, at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Terry Presson will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Greg Hammond, and Michael Paul Miller.

Wilma was born October 29, 1930, in Dorena, Missouri, daughter of the late Luther and Verlie (Hardin) Presson. She married James A. “Bill” Morris March 11, 1948. He passed away November 18, 2013. She worked for the former Reelfoot Packing Company and was a seamstress for many years. She was the owner and operator with her husband Bill of the former Pizza U.S.A. near Union City. Wilma was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Kathy) Morris of Cookeville and David (Carol) Morris of Union City; one daughter, Linda (Tom) Jernigan of Union City; thirteen grandchildren, Michael (Melinda) Morris, Jennifer Morris, Wayne (Brisa) Morris, Andrienne (Scott) Shell, Angie (Ronnie) Roney, Chris (Alison) Dunavent, James Gibson, Jason (Cindy) Gibson, Jeremy Morris, Laura Morris, John David Morris, Julie Morris Parker, Justin Morris; seventeen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Glenda Morris of Union City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Morris and Donnie Morris; one grandson, Clayton Lynn Morris; two great grandchildren, Daulton Storm Holly and Lily Ann Parker; one sister, Louise Drunkard; and her twin brother, Henry Lee Presson.
