Mrs. Wilma Cruce, 88, of Union City died 3:15 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cruce will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Jeff Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Cruce was born October 17, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Angie (Qualls) Morphis. She married Louis Harold Cruce. He died February 23, 1993. Mrs. Cruce is a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ. She worked for the Brown Shoe Company for 20 years and owned Cruce Antiques in Obion County from 1967 until 1993.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Nan Cruce of Placentia, California and Kenneth Cruce of Union City; one daughter, Nancy Muncell of Denton, Texas; two brothers, Fred Morphis, Jr. of Rives and Gene Paul Morphis of Indiana and several grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Harold Cruce.
