Obituary

Mr. William L. "Cotton" Perryman, 91, of Union City passed away 3:35 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2020, at AHC Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Derek Perryman, Paul Crowell, Leroy Segraves, Van Hazlewood, Bryan Keathley and Michael Simpson.

Mr. Perryman was born August 3, 1929, in Kenton, son of the late Roy and Edna (Manus) Perryman. He married Billie (Dozier) Peryman December 2, 1951. She preceded him in death May 30, 2012. Mr. Perryman had served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School class.

He is survived by two daughters, Penny Petty and Tammy Crowell both of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Tammy Perryman of Union City; six grandchildren and the spouse of one, Jo Beth and Mark Murphree of Brandon, Mississippi, Leigh Ann Reeder of Nashville, Derek Perryman of Franklin, Taylor Perryman of New Orleans, Louisiana and Laura Petty and Kalie Beth Crowell both of Union City; two great grandsons, Cohen Simpson and Calih Petty both of Union City; and one sister, Jean Prather of Clinton, Mississippi.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Perryman and Ralph Perryman.
