William Melvin "Willy" Armstrong, 47, of Troy passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, April 29, 2024, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Shawn White will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Cory Armstrong, Jeffrey Hutchison, Ken Miller, Bobby Callahan, Justin Hodge and Steve Myrick.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

William was born September 24, 1976, in Union City, son of Peggy (Price) Armstrong of Troy and the late William D. "Bill" Armstrong. He was employed as a transportation driver for Helping Hands Transportation. William enjoyed wrestling, NASCAR, golf, bowling and the Las Vegas Raiders.

He is also survived by his son, Dylan Armstrong (Whitney) of Union City; his sister, Brandi Foutch (Jeffery) of Union City; his brother, Cory Armstrong (Casandra) of Murfreesboro; his granddaughter, Alice Marie Armstrong of Union City; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
