Mr. Will Edd Riddle,72, of Samburg, died 2:45 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Independent Baptist Church . Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak. Brother Carl Southerland will officiate.

Mr. Riddle was born October 15, 1936, in Samburg, son of the late Clarence and Mary Frances (Ethridge) Riddle. He married the former Shirley Burress on December 24, 1958. She survives. He was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church, a commercial fisherman and guide on Reelfoot Lake, and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jim Neely of Samburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jo Ann Riddle and Jeff and Angela Riddle all of Union City, and William and Beth Riddle of Samburg; eight grandchildren, Shaina Quick of Hornbeak, Brian Bartz, Stephenie Basham, Hanna-Grace Neely, Ryleigh Riddle and Madisyn Riddle all of Samburg and Gage Riddle and Dylan Riddle both of Union City; four great grandchildren, Chance Basham, Baylee Basham and Brianna Bartz all of Samburg and Noah Elizabeth Quick of Hornbeak.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur Riddle and Robert Riddle and two sisters, Ida Lou Williams and Hazel Carroll.

The family will receive friends at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 6665 Push Road, Hornbeak, TN 38232, on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers to serve will be Jerry Southerland, Brian Bartz, Chris Basham, Mark Butler II, Chris Tittle and Larry Lovell.

Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Harold Spicer, Tommy Griffin, Harold Riddle, Gary Holt, Ray Ethridge and the men of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.
