Obituary

Wesley Garrett "Wes" McDaniel, 30, of Dresden passed away 4:37 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018, as the result of a farming accident near Dresden.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Griffin will officiate. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Shane Ogle, Daniel Ogle, Corey Maddox, Jesse James, Jason Ross and Chris Boulanger.

The Patriot Guard and Rolling Thunder Tn. 6 will escort Wes to his final resting place.

Wes was born February 4, 1988, in Martin, son of Kerry Lynn McDaniel of Dresden and Cinnamon (Garrett) Wilson of Obion County. He was a 2006 graduate of Dresden High School and was currently enrolled in the machinist program at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Newbern. Wes enjoyed being outdoors, landscaping, fishing and farming. He had also served in the Tennessee National Guard. Wes was of the Christian faith.

He is also survived by his significant other and her daughter, Dakota Sherrill and Kadynce Adams both of Dresden; his stepmother, Delores McDaniel of Dresden; his sister and niece Sabrena McDaniel and Olivia McDaniel both of Kenton; his brother, Heath Richee of Barstow, California; his step sister, Christy Coffman and her sons, Seth Mitchell and Drake Coffmann all of Martin; his step brother, Jason Sprouce of Dresden and his daughter, Summer Sprouce of Martin; his grandparents, Reavis "J.R." and Linda McDaniel of Martin; his great grandmother, Louise Milton of Martin; and his aunts and uncle, Ginger Alexander and Michelle Garrett both of Hickman, Kentucky, Melony Driver of Dresden and Stephanie and Kevin Buchanan of Kenton.

He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Cecelia Garrett; and his grandfather, James Garrett.
