Wayne Driggers' Obituary
Jeffrey Wayne Driggers, 48, of Troy died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday at The Living Word Church in Hornbeak. Brother Archie Larry will officiate.
Visitation will be held at The Living Word Church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Wayne was born August 23, 1966, in Rockingham, North Carolina, son of Joyce (Gregory) Driggers of Troy and the late Rufus Driggers, Jr. He had been employed in the shipping and receiving department at Jimmy Dean Foods in Newbern and was a member of The Living Word Church.
He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Wayne Driggers, II of Troy; his granddaughter, Lyric Abigail Driggers of Troy; his sister, Cheryl Johnson of Union City; and his brother, Michael Driggers of Troy.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Dakota Lee Driggers; and one brother, Ronnie Driggers.
