Mrs. Wanda Faye Spaulding, 78, of Troy passed away 4:10 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Wilson Walley and Brother Carey Morris will officiate. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Spaulding, Waylon Spaulding, Nathan Spaulding, Cody Spaulding Mike Scott and Wade Kersey.

Wanda was born February 11, 1945, in Troy, daughter of the late John Walter Hughes and Novelle (Barnes) Jackson. She married Jay Spaulding November 18, 1962. He survives. She worked at Troy City Hall for 22 years and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Troy.

She is also survived by two sons, Jamie Spaulding (Mary) of Troy and David Spaulding of Troy; five grandchildren, Ethan Spaulding, Waylon Spaulding, Nathan Spaulding, Cody Spaulding and Savannah Spaulding; one great grandson, Brycen Spaulding; two sisters, Johnnie Kiser of Canton, Michigan and Ann Bone (Dalton) of Millington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Arnelle Spicer; and one brother, Baby Hughes.
