Wanda McCallon, 80, of Union City passed away 5:50 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022. at AHC of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be Troy Richards, Cory Pickens, Spenser Pruiett, Levi Pruiett, Skylar Lofton and Lake Lofton.

Honorary pallbearer will be Lauren Pruiett.

Wanda was born March 11, 1941, in Martin, daughter of the late Carl and Julie (Jones) Watkins. She married Gerald McCallon August 27, 1971. He survives. Wanda was a 1959 graduate of Martin High School where she played basketball and was named best defensive player her senior year. She had been employed at Merritt Clothing Company in Martin and The Doctor's Clinic in Union City. Wanda was a member of First Church of God in Union City.

She is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Robyn and Troy Richards of Wingo, Kentucky and Lucretia McCallon Colley and Jimmy Colley of Mayfield, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Yandell; and one grandson, Darren Price.
