Virginia Nell Vlasak, 82, of Reelfoot Lake passed away 1:40 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Virginia was born December 31, 1940, in Hohenwald, daughter of the late Rex and Florine (Hinson) Mitchell. She married Duane Vlasak December 10, 1960. He survives. Virginia had been employed as cafeteria manager for Burlington Northern Railroad.

She is also survived by one daughter, Melissa Jackson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister, Shirley Hardin and husband Max of Mason Hall; one brother, Gene Mitchell and wife Debbie of Atoka; her grandson, Justin Jackson of Mesa, Arizona; and her great grandson, Wyatt Zemola of Chandler, Arizona.
