Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Dare Dunkin, 86, of Union City passed away 1:45 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at The Waters of Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak View Memorial Park near Alamo. Rev. Bill Brown will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dunkin was born January 6, 1931, in Crockett County, daughter of the late Ollie B. and Nana Bee Robertson. She married Clyde Ethern Dunkin March 15, 1947. He preceded her in death May 16, 2010. Mrs. Dunkin was a retired employee of Ocoma Foods in Humboldt and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Joe Carson of Union City; one grandson and his wife, Eric and Kathy Carson of Paducah, Kentucky; and three great grandchildren, Morgan Carson, Ethan Carson and Braxton Carson all of Paducah, Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters; and three brothers.
