Mrs. Virgie Lee Osteen, 85, of South Fulton passed away 7:04 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Graves Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak. Brother Paul Adams will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will Charlie Davis, Harley Davis, Jeremy Davis, Makayla Davis, Trevor Pollock, Timbo Smith, Jesse Davis and Tim Davis.

Virgie was born March 1, 1936, in Halls, daughter of the late Jack and Lois (Doss) Blakley. She worked for the former Lear Siegler, Inc. and attended Walnut Grove Church in South Fulton.

She is survived by one son, Ricky Davis (Theresa) of South Fulton; one daughter, Judy Abshire (David, Sr.) of Union City; four grandchildren, Ricky Davis of South Fulton, Tim Davis (Mindy) of South Fulton; David Abshire, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Kentucky and Jennifer Pickering (Chris) of Union City; nine great grandchildren, Harley Davis, Timothy Davis, Jesse Davis, Makayla Davis, Charlie Davis, David Abshire, III, Taylor Pickering, Kayla Pickering and Zoe Pickering; and one sister, Dorothy Bingham of Samburg.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
