Violet Morgan Treece, 94, of Hendersonville passed away Friday morning, June 5, 2020, at her home. She was a former resident of the Shawtown community.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Calhoun and Les Chaffin will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Treece, Ken Treece, Clay Treece, Ryan Treece, Shelby Treece, Chad Treece, Kyle Treece and Matthew Chaffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Fisher, Bobby Fisher, Kevin Fisher, Tommy Wood and David Wood.

Violet was born May 7, 1926, in Lauderdale County, daughter of the late Quincy Lacky and Willie Ethel (Lunsford) Morgan. She married Cecil Treece July 7, 1945. He preceded her in death January 14, 1992. Violet was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Road Church of Christ in Hendersonville.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Jones (Tom) of Hendersonville; two sons, Lynn Treece (Deanna) of Springville and Dale Treece of Union City; her daughter-in-law, Linda Treece of Spring Hill; her special niece, Mary Sue Wood of Ripley; nine grandchildren, Jamie Treece (Dana), Ken Treece (Amy), Clay Treece (Jessica), Ryan Treece (Katie), Michelle Cavaness (Charles), Shelly Long (Matt), Kyle Treece (Holly), Morgan Chaffin (Matthew) and Chad Treece; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cecelia Treece; one son, Kenny Treece; one granddaughter, Keri Lynn Treece; her daughter-in-law, Janice Treece; three sisters, Lucy Denney, Eva Fisher and Q.L. Smith; and one brother, J.P. Morgan.
