Vickie King Pearson, 70, of Hornbeak passed away 5:06 a.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Martin. She was a former resident of Tiptonville.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at Lake Memorial Gardens near Tiptonville. Brother Tom Fortner will officiate.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Vickie was born September 1, 1947, in Kentucky Bend, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elgie "Doc" and Vera Gertrude (Whitson) King.  Vickie was a former department store manager in the clothing industry and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her partner of 16 years, Steve Lofton of Hornbeak; one son, Donnie (Rebecca) Rushing of Paducah, Ky.; one grandson, Michael Dotson of Benton, Ky.; one granddaughter, Victoria Rushing of Paducah, Ky.; and one sister, Doris June Stephenson of Milan.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Carolyn Durham, Betty Adams, and Peggy Adams; and three brothers, Cayce King, Merrill King, and David King.
