January 11, 1943 – January 18, 2022
Verba Jean Bramlett, 79, of Reelfoot Lake passed away 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Ken Hogg will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Hayes, Rodney Underwood, Jerry Poyner, Kyle Simmons, Jason Short and Bobby Parker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Berry, Jr., Joel Pierce and Danny Wheeler.
Verba was born January 11, 1943, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Pete and Audrey (Godwin) Berry. She was married to James "Dodie" Bramlett who preceded her in death October 17, 2005. Verba currently served as secretary of the Samburg Utility District and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Volner of Trimble; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kim Bramlett of Nashville; one sister, Evelyn Pierce of Dyersburg; two brothers and their spouses, Greg and Kathy Berry of Dyersburg and Cliff and Sunny Berry of Tiptonville; and five grandchildren, Kealey Bramlett of Nashville, Kyle Johnson of Alabama and Brandon Bramlett, Marlana Crowell and Michael Bramlett.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Danny Bramlett and Rickie Bramlett; two sisters, Betty Hopper and Georgie Curvin; and one brother, Jeff Berry.
