Ms. Venetta (Warren) Ragsdale, 86, of Union City, passed away 1:37 a.m. Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Union City. Dr. Cecil Sewell will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Jason Quinton, Richard Ragsdale, Brett Ragsdale, Ty Ragsdale, J.T. Ragsdale and Bruce Ragsdale.
Ms. Ragsdale was born November 4, 1931, in Trimble, daughter of the late Walter B. and Trumie (Luker) Warren. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Fretta and Pete Quinton of Union City; one daughter-in-law, Jan Ragsdale of Union City; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ilar and Rose Warren of Union City and Donald Warren of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; six grandchildren and their spouses, Melanie and Jack French of Murfreesboro, Michelle and Todd Phipps and Richard and Greta Ragsdale all of Union City, Jason and Shannon Quinton of Brighton, Brett and Naomi Ragsdale of Memphis and Ty and Johnna Ragsdale of Obion; and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Ricky Ragsdale; two sisters, Estelle Collins and Charlene Hughes; and two brothers, Walter Wayne Warren and W.J. Warren.
