Velma Lee Stover, 85, of Union City passed away 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Obion County Nursing Home.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Stover are incomplete at this time.

Velma was born March 19, 1941, in Obion County, daughter of the late Marvin and Docie (Boone) Harrison. She married Harold Stover May 17, 1963. He preceded her in death December 17, 2015. Velma had been employed as a secretary in banking in Memphis for 24 years prior to moving back to Obion County in 1986. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Troy.

She is survived by her cousin and his wife, Aaron and Toni Boone of Obion.
