Mr. James "Tyler" Cruce, 25, of Obion passed away 5:05 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare - Dyersburg Regional.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Carey Morris will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Barch, Greyson Miles, Nash Turner, Josh Watkins, Mark Ethridge and Monti Daoud.
Honorary pallbearers will be member of Team Fi and Team IAK.
Tyler was born October 6, 1992, in Obion County, son of James "Jim" Cruce of Ridgely and Cheraton (Sherrill) Butts of Shelbyville, Tn. He was a member of Team IAK and Team Fi and worked for the former Sun Products in Dyersburg.
He is also survived by his daughter, Cambri Cruce of Ridgely; one brother, Hayden Butts Shelbyville, Tn.; two aunts, Courtney (David) Thomason of Troy and Amanda (Monti) Daoud of Nashville; one uncle, Jason (Rhonda) Cruce of Ridgely; grandparents, Judy Cruce of Obion and Leon and Connie Sherrill of Tiptonville; stepmother, Samatha Barnett of Ridgely; stepfather, Jay Butts of Shelbyville, Tn.; his girlfriend, Somer Young of Newbern and several cousins.
He was preceded in the death by his grandfather, Jimmy Cruce.
