Ty Kendall Ragsdale, 49, of Union City passed away 4:10 a.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.  Brother Rick Roberts and Chad Foley will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Ragsdale, J.T. Ragsdale, Trey Phipps, Chandler Yates, Cody Wicker and Skye Davis.

Ty was born February 20, 1975, in Union City, son of the late Ricky Lynn Ragsdale and Jan (Kendall) Ragsdale of Union City.  He married Johnna (Welch) Ragsdale September 14, 1996.  She survives.  He worked at Rough Country in Dyersburg.

He is also survived by three daughters, Alea Ragsdale of Kenton, Chloe Ragsdale of Troy and Jenna Ragsdale of Troy; one grandson, Riley Cove Wicker of Troy; one sister, Michelle Phipps (Todd) of Union City; one brother, Brett Ragsdale of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Ragsdale.
