Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Dale Batchelor will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery .

Mr. Poole was born April 24, 1935, in Fayette County, Tennessee, son of the late Jim Clarence and Grace (Rigsby) Poole. He married the former Patsy Grimes on May 30, 1958. She survives. Mr. Poole served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired from Kohler after 17 years of service. He was a member of Hornbeak Pentecostal Church.

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jack Dutton of Union City; his brother, Gerald Poole of Joliet, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Edward Poole; and his twin brother, Roy Poole.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Scott Grimes, Andy Grimes, Jackie Grimes, Stephen Morris, Chuck Goetz and Timmy Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Huey, Robert Wallace, Mike Madding, Charles Harris, Todd Mitchell and Larry Mitchell Jr.
