Troy O'Daniel, 69, of Union City passed away 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Stephen Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow at the family home place.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Michael McKinney, Corey O'Daniel, Sam Kendall, Tracy Leggett, Vondal Davidson and Jeff Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Bishop Street Church of Christ and Joe Johnson, Leonard Todd, J.B. Parker, David Kendall and Lonnie Grady.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Bishop Street Church of Christ, 908 Bishop Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261.

Troy was born January 24, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late R.C. O'Daniel and the late Julia (Troy) Creggar. He married Sandra (Witherspoon) O'Daniel May 22, 1967. She survives. Troy was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Greta and Richard Ragsdale of Union City; two grandsons, J.T. Ragsdale of Martin and Bruce Ragsdale of Union City; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lee O'Daniel of New Johnsonville; one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Harold Killen of New Johnsonville; his sister-in-law, Judy Lipsey of Union City; and his nieces and nephews, Angie Clanton, Casey Tillman, Rachael McKinney (Michael); Joe Morgan Clanton, Corey O'Daniel, Jason King and John King.
