Tracy Vicary
Mr. Tracy Lynn Vicary, 55, of the Gardner community passed away 12:40 a.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016, at his home under the loving care of his wife and children after a brief illness with cancer.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. The Honorable Jimmy Croom and Larry Powers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gardner Cemetery near Martin.
Pallbearers will be William Olfenheusle, Bill Thompson, Kenneth Wynia, Stan Gammons, Jeff Fagan and Jimmy Croom.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Barner and David Taylor.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the
American Cancer Society.
Tracy was born January 14, 1961, in Union City, son of Marie (Ferguson) Vicary of the Gardner community and the late Walter Vicary. He was a 1979 graduate of Westview High School in Martin where he was very active in FFA. After hog farming for 20 years he started Vicary Septic Service which he owned and operated for 17 years. He also assisted in the salvaging and curation of old log barns and cabins for new home construction the past 17 years. Tracy was a lifetime member of Gardner Church of Christ.
He is also survived by his wife Becky Vicary of Martin; his children, Travis (Erin) Vicary of Toney, Alabama, Terry Whiting of Newbern and Amanda (Kyle) Waterston of Eagleville; and his sister, Cathy (Jack) Waggener of Martin.
He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Justin Bartig.
