Mr. Tommy Ray Martin, 76, of Martin passed away 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Martin.  Dr. Mike Sams and Tommy Moore will officiate.  Burial will follow in Camp Ground Cemetery near Martin.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Andy Oliver, Jamie Westbrook, Mike Ford, Mike Wilson, Portis Tanner and Terry McDade.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Prince, Dale Bolding, Marvin Alexander, Richard Killebrew, Mike Rinker, John Tanner, Steve Bates and Joe Hill.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tommy was born November 11, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan, son of the late Thomas Martin and Mary Lou Edwards.  He married Judy (Travis) Martin March 19, 1966.  She survives.  He and his wife loved entertaining friends and family through the Elks Lodge where he worked for over 30 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

He is also survived by two grandchildren, Cody Martin (Ashley) of Union City and Cayce Allen (Will) of Murfreesboro; three great grandchildren, Ryleigh Martin, Cora Martin and Jack Allen; and one sister, Donna Martin of Martin.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Chad Martin.
