Thomas Edward "Tommy" Halliburton, Jr., 51, of Union City passed away 7:15 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charlie Halliburton will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Halliburton, Conner Halliburton, Justin Baker, Keith Jones, Mike Henry, Anthony Powell and Byron Betts.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Tommy was born September 14, 1970, in Elgin, Illinois, son of the late Thomas Edward Halliburton, Sr. and the late Diana June Gilliland. He had been employed as a tire builder at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Tommy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City, the National Rifle Association and was an avid shooter.

He is survived by one son, Tim Halliburton (Veronica) of Newbern; one daughter, Tiffany Dobson (Parker) of Troy; three sisters, Cheryl Brinkley and Laura Jones (Keith) all of Union City and Susan Powell (Anthony) of Odenville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Anjelina Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Conner Halliburton and Gabriella Halliburton all of Newbern; and his grand dog, Dixie "My Dog" Dobson.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Tina Moore.
