Obituary

Mr. Lowell Thomas "Tom" Farmer, 73, of Union City died Monday, January 5, 2009 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Symsonia Cemetery in Symsonia, Ky. Rev. James Jones will officiate.

Mr. Farmer was born July 6, 1935, in Graves County, Ky., son of the late Lois and Agnes (Mc Cain) Farmer. He was the owner and operator of the former Tom's Cabinet Shop in Union City, served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Woodmen of The World.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila & Tom Peeler of Kevil, Ky.; one sister, Jocile Mc Manus of Symsonia, Ky.; one brother, Clint "Jim" Farmer of Symsonia, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.


Active pallbearers to serve will be Leroy Crumble, Chris Lynch, Michael Lynch and Rev. James Jones.
