Mr. Thomas Henry "Tom" Eaves, 78, of Obion passed away 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Living Word Church in Hornbeak. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.
Pallbearers will be William Eaves, Kenneth Knight, Jr., Tony Eaves, Dallas Eaves, Glen Willcutt, David Eaves, Richard Eaves and Justin Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Eaves, Bobby Dale Eaves, Thomas Cruce, Bailey Eaves, Jason Riley and Chris Crowell.
Visitation will be held at Living Word Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tom was born December 11, 1942, in Tiptonville, son of the late Earnest and Una (Flowers) Eaves. He worked for several farmers in the area for many years.
He is survived by three daughters, Kay Mungle of Obion, Heather Cruce (Thomas) of Obion and Angie Parrish of Union City; one son, Shane Eaves (Wendy) of Obion; his fiancé, Sheila McCoy of Obion; nine grandchildren, Ashton Riley of Hornbeak, Matthew Eaves of Union City, Jordan Eaves of Obion, Joey Sine of Union City, Dallas Eaves of Union City, Bailey Eaves of Union City, Steven Pollock of Troy, Josh Pollock of Clarksville and Aliyah Cruce of Obion; seven great grandchildren; five brothers, Bill Eaves (Yvonne) of Troy, Jimmy Eaves (Linda) of Troy, Bobby Eaves (Delilah) of Troy, Harold Eaves (Dotty) of Obion and Winston Eaves of Obion; one sister, Patricia "Sissy" Crowell (Bobby) of Obion; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Jason Eaves; one great grandson, Jason Riley; two brothers, Dale Eaves and Delmus Eaves; four sisters, Lavern Eaves, Geneva Crowell, Opal Rhamsy and Irene Powers; and his son-in-law, Brian Mungle.
