Mrs. Thressa Janice Hutcheson, 80, of Hornbeak passed away 1:45 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Austin Norton will officiate. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Hutcheson, Brandon Hutcheson, Bradley Hutcheson, Seth Hutcheson, Nick Gream and Jarred Hutcheson.

Thressa was born November 18, 1943, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Alvin and Lorene (Lindsey) Shelton.  She married Kenneth Hutcheson July 12, 1960.  He survives.  She was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church and she inspired her family in her faith.

She is also survived by two sons, Bob Hutcheson (Vickie) of Samburg and Tom Hutcheson (Sherri) of Hornbeak; five grandchildren, Caleb Hutcheson of Texas, Brandon Hutcheson of Hornbeak, Bradley Hutcheson of Hornbeak, Seth Hutcheson of Henderson, Kentucky and Sonny Jo Gream of Shawtown; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Olen Shelton of Dyersburg; and one sister, Wanda Howell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chelsea Kaye Hutcheson.
