Thomas Gene Shore, 47, of Union City passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Jason Beeler, Will Yates, Dwayne Burress, Tyler Webb, Kelly Cranford, Dennis Cranford and Steve Cranford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Carter and Joe Parfait.

Tommy was born December 20, 1972, in Union City, son of Darrell Shore (Jill) of Troy and Beverly (Bizzle) Burkett of South Fulton. He was employed as a mechanic for the Tennessee Department of Transportation in Newbern and was a member of the Memphis 10 crew.

He is also survived by three daughters, Megan Shore of Union City, Ruby Shore of Lebanon and Riley Shore of Rutherford; three sons, Thomas Shore, Jr. of Lebanon, Drake Medley of Union City and Dalton Smith of Ashland City; three grandchildren, Cypress Carter and Camden Carter both of Union City and Penelope Harrell of Lebanon; one sister, Rebecca Parfait (Joe) of Newbern; two brothers, Travis Burkett (Sarah) of Dyersburg and Damon Shore (Nikki) of Topeka, Kansas; his aunt, Kim Shore of Union City; and his uncle, Damon Shore of Rives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna and Lewis "Nubbin" Bizzle and Preacher and Kathleen Shore.
