Thomas Edward Nash, 79, of the Dixie community passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Fremont Cemetery near Union City. Lyn Tharpe and Bill Denman will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas was born August 29, 1943, in Obion County, son of the late Thomas Edward and Edna Mae (Crews) Nash. He married Glendya Joy (Gray) Nash December 23, 1962. She preceded him in death July 8, 2015. Thomas retired from the the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 30 years of service and was a member of Fremont Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Nash of Chattanooga; two brothers, Doyle Nash (Debbie) of Union City and Larry Nash of Visalia, California; and three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Gray (Shirley) and Terry Gray all of Union City and Jerry Gray (Pat) of Monte Vista, California.
