Teresa Readenour, 55, of Hornbeak, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Though her time on earth was far too short, the impact she made on those who knew and loved her will last forever.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry and Brother Tommy Dean will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Josh Webb, Jr. Eaves, Mike Watson, Justin Tubbs, Nic Willoughby and John Bennett.

Teresa was born January 11, 1971, in Union City, daughter of Alvin Lee Webb of Hornbeak and the late Wanda Diane (Thompson) Webb. She was a sergeant at the Northwest Tennessee Correctional Facilities for many years and attended Living Word Church in Hornbeak.

Teresa was a strong, fierce, and independent woman whose greatest pride and purpose in life were her three daughters, Brittany, Ashley, and Teresa. As a single mother, she faced many challenges and hardships, yet she met every obstacle with determination, courage, and an unwavering commitment to her children. No matter what struggles she carried herself, she always made sure her girls were cared for, loved, and provided for. Through her sacrifices and hard work, they never wanted for anything and always knew they were deeply loved.

Known for her strength and resilience, Teresa was the kind of woman who refused to give up when life became difficult. She was a protector, a provider, a source of comfort, and a constant supporter to those she loved. Her fierce love for her family was evident in everything she did. She taught her daughters to be strong, independent, and compassionate by living those values every day.

In addition to being a devoted mother, Teresa found immense joy in being a grandmother. Her six grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, spoiling them with love, or simply spending time together, she created memories that will remain in their hearts forever.

Teresa also shared a special bond with her beloved fiancé, Mark Watson. His love, companionship, and support brought her comfort and happiness, and together they built a relationship rooted in loyalty, friendship, and devotion.

Teresa is survived by her loving fiancé, Mark Watson; her three beloved daughters, Brittany, Ashley, and Teresa; her six cherished grandchildren; and many family members and friends whose lives were forever touched by her strength, generosity, and love.

While her family grieves the loss of an extraordinary woman, they also celebrate a life defined by perseverance, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Teresa's legacy lives on in her daughters, her grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a devoted fiancée, and a loyal friend. Above all, she was the heart of her family. Her strength carried them through difficult times, her love held them together, and her memory will continue to guide them in the years ahead.

She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Dallas Readenour; one brother, Mike Webb; and one sister, Kristi Cook.

Teresa Readenour will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
