Mr. Ted Boaz, 61, of Union City died suddenly at 1:07 a.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Mr. Boaz was born March 15, 1950, in Clinton, Kentucky, son of the late Carnell and Flossie (Owens) Boaz. He married Karen (Graves) Boaz in 1975. She survives. He was employed in the shipping department at Tyson Foods in Union City for the past twelve years and was a member of Water Valley (Ky) Baptist Church.

He is also survived by his daughter, Amanda Boaz of Water Valley, Kentucky; two sons, Donald Montgomery and Johnny Montgomery both of Union City; his sister, Carolyn King of West Palm Beach, Florida; four brothers, Sam Boaz and Jim Boaz both of Fulton, Kentucky and Ronnie Boaz and John Boaz both of Clinton, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
