Tanya Carol Allison, 35, of the Shawtown community died Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2009, of injuries received in an automobile accident near Trimble.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery . Brother Jimmy Calhoun and Brother Brent Petty will officiate.

Tanya was born May 11, 1974, in Union City, daughter of Nancy (Higby) Allison of the Shawtown community and Willard Allison Sr. of Ridgely. She was employed as a customer service represenative for Dickson Medical Equipment in Union City and a former employee of Lincare in Dyersburg. She was a 1992 graduate of Obion County Central High School and attended Crosswind Church.

She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jan Allison of the Shawtown community; her niece, Macy Allison of the Shawtown community; her fiance', Charles "Whistle" Moore Jr. of Dyersburg and his children, Dillan Moore, Mason Moore and Anne-Ashton Moore all of Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arch and Cora Higby and Jim Allison and Zuvie Hinkle.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers to serve will be Danny Smith, Marty Vaughn, Brad Woody, Dale Treece, Mark Seiber, Lucas Hamilton, Bryan Cranford and Kenneth Mobbs.

Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Bob Montgomery, Tim Smith, Kelly Walker, Jay Litchford, J.R. Seals, Jeremy Seals and Jeff Quinn.
