Ms. Sylvia Faye McKinney, 72, of Franklin passed away 7:10 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was a former resident of Obion County.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Eddie Hutchens will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Pelia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Friday.

Pallbearers will be Michael McKinney, Patrick Dilday, Erik Dowdy, Alex Edwards, Savian Scott and Spencer Smith.

Sylvia was born April 14, 1950, in Union City, daughter of the late Spencer and Mary Frances (Damron) Duncan. She worked in quality control at the former Sharon Manufacturing and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Michael McKinney (Rachael) of Union City; her daughter, Tracey McKinney of Hermitage; six grandchildren, Briley Kate McKinney, Destiny Johnson, Serenity Scott, Makayla Scott, Dalayla Scott and Savian Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Duncan and Sarah Moore; and her brother, John Duncan.
