Mrs. Suzie Parker, 79, of Union City passed away 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Diversicare of Martin.

Memorial services will be held at First Church of God in Union City 6:00 p.m. Friday. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.

Visitation will be at First Church of God from 5:00 p.m. until service time Friday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Suzie was born October 2, 1942, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Lorn Fred and Sally Rachel (McCoy) Simmons. She married Bobby Dan Parker November 29, 1959. He survives. She worked for the former H.I.S. clothing company and was a member of the First Church of God in Union City.

She is also survived by four daughters, Elaine Piatt (Chad) of Martin, Vickie Parker of South Fulton, Darlene McMaster (Justin) of Union City and Beth Wicker (Jerry) of Bradenton, Florida; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Shelia Simmons Jones of Troy and Marie Fagan (Richard) of Troy; and two brothers, Franklin Simmons (Carol Ann) of Wynnburg and Randy Simmons of Tiptonville.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Parker; one granddaughter, Alexandrea Bevis; and one brother, Edward W. "Jim" Simmons.
