Sue Polhamus' Obituary
Mrs. Martha Sue Polhamus, 79, of Union City passed away 8:50 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Walt Asher will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Baker, Mike Polhamus, Kevin Polhamus, Cory Polhamus, David Polhamus and Charles Kemp.
Sue was born May 7, 1939, in Obion, Tn., daughter of the late Omer and Frances Rebecca (Bone) Morris. She married Robert Polhamus August 8, 1975. He died November 18, 2001. She worked for Kohler in Union City for 18 years and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Union City. She was also a member of the Johnson Grove Baptist Church in South Fulton.
She is survived by four sons, Randy and Teresa Stroud of Union City, Robert and Jackie Polhamus of Michigan, Douglas and Christine Polhamus of Michigan and Edward Polhamus of Michigan; one daughter, Laura Polhamus of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; one brother, Harold and Joyce Morris of Harris Station; three sisters, Paula Galloway of South Fulton, Rita Reams of South Fulton and Frieda Luker of South Fulton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Baker and three brothers, Wayne Morris, Donald Ray Morris and Robert Woody Morris.
