Mary Sue (Hudson) Gray, 74, of Obion passed away 9:30 p.m. Monday, December 25, 2017, at Union City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Old Republican Cemetery near Union City. Brother Steve Gurien will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Sue was born August 25, 1943, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Luther Alexander and Mary Bell (McBride) Hudson. She preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Horace Gene Gray on February 25, 2012. Sue had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Company and the former Salant & Salant. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Floyd Jerome Cannon of Trenton; one brother and sister-in-law, Luther A. "Bud" Hudson, Jr. and Melissa Hudson of Union City; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Cannon; and her sister, Wanda Lou Hudson Adams.
