Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Dan Huggins will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Driver, Mikey May, Jason Powell, Kenny Mobbs, Lynn Smith and Trey Smith.

Mr. May was born January 22, 1956, in Union City, son of the late Allen Douglas and Edna Opal (Swinney) May. He married Paula (Jenkins) May on May 29, 1976. She survives. Stephen was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

He is also survived by his daughter, Stacey May of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Heather May of Union City; four grandchildren, Aspen May, Hamilton May, Vivian May and Jalen Driver all of Union City; his brother, Michael May of Martin and his sister, Doris Dunn of Latham.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Allen May.
