Stella Banks' Obituary
Ms. Stella Louise Banks, 59, of Rives died 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate.
The family will receive friends in the Rosewood Room at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Martin Goff, Dennis Brinkley, James Quick, Danny Summers Jr., Steve Jones and Darrell Jones.
Ms. Banks was born September 19, 1950, in Carmi, Illinois, daughter of the late Porter and Marie (Crain) Goff Harris. She had been employed in quality control at the former Kenton Custom Molding and was a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Banks of Rives; four sisters, Lucille Griggs of Rives, Martha Brinkley of Union City, Ruby Moran of Mayfield, Kentucky and Flora Quick of Princeton, Kentucky; and two brothers, Martin Goff of Portage, Indiana and John Goff of Union City.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Ann Corley and two brothers, Ray Goff and Mack Crain.
