Sonny White's Obituary
Mr. Herman "Sonny" White, 58, of Union City died 7:18 p.m. Sunday, Novmeber 13, 2011, at his home.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mr. White was born August 31, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Wesley Herman White and the late Dorothy Janice (Garrett) Brown. He married the former Brenda Tosh on April 25, 1978. She survives. He had been employed as a brick mason and was a Pentecostal.
He is also survived by two daughters, Brandy Flatt of Union City and Amanda Morgan of Van Buren, Arkansas; his step son, Bryan Mobbs of Union City; two brothers, Bill White of Troy and Danny White of Union City; two sisters, Sue Mansfield of Union City and Jean Miller of Kenton; six grandchildren, Dylan Burress, Danielle Burress, Blake Slaughter, Ashley White, Autum White and Kelcey Ray Morgan; and five step grandchildren, Jacob Mobbs, Brianna Mobbs, Jonah Flatt, Hannah Flatt and Brilee Miles.
He was preceded in death by his sister, June Kennedy.
