Mrs. Shirley Jean Redmond, 81, of Union City passed away 7:53 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Scott Fields will officiate. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Crockett Mills, Tn.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to the Alzheimer's Association .

Shirley was born September 18, 1939, in Woodland Mills, daughter of the late J. L. and Ruby (Crossno) Baker. She married Wayne Redmond November 23, 1958. He survives. She was owner / operator of Redmond Appliance in Union City and member of Reelfoot Baptist Church.

She is also survived by one son, Trent Redmond (Julie) of Nashville; two grandchildren, Parker Redmond and Lara Redmond both of Nashville; and one stepbrother, Jerry Lynn Baker (Debbie) of Martin.

She was also preceded in death by infant twin sons, Randall Redmond and Russell Redmond; and two brothers, Junior Lee Baker and James "Frog" Baker.
