Shirley Ann Kelly, 79, of Troy passed away 12:15 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the Obion County Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hickman City Cemetery. Brother Henry Callison will officiate.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was born July 12, 1940, in Mississippi County, Missouri, daughter of the late Robert Johnson and the late Evelyn (Murphy) Johnson Burns. She married James E. Kelly May 6, 1994. He preceded her in death December 19, 2012. Shirley had been employed at Wal-Mart in Fulton, Kentucky and Union City and retired as a supervisor at the former Gurien Finishing Company. She was a member of Troy First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Twana Tibbs and Sharrie McKenzie (Mike) all of Troy; two sons, Mike Busby (Becky) of Hornbeak and Lynn Busby of Hickman, Kentucky; one brother, Roger Howard Johnson of Memphis; five grandchildren, Jason Batts, Macey McKenzie, Joe Keith Childress, Michael Busby, and Kasa Busby; and several great grandchildren.
