Mrs. Sherry Lynn Ferrell, 70, of Union City passed away 7:23 a.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Lance Taylor, Jacob Austin, Brennon Elam, Kaido Kajandi, Collin Rollins and Caleb Courtney.

Sherry was born November 12, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Orville Ray Howard and Martha Ray (Orr) Taylor.  She married Dennis Ferrell January 4, 1988.  He passed away March 5, 2013. She retired as a nurse from the former Methodist Hospital in Dyersburg and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Lauren Elam (Brennon) of Duncan, South Carolina; two sons, Jacob Austin (Kristi) of Tampa, Florida and Christoph Schneider (Birgit) of Barcelona, Spain; one sister, Judy Kirk of Covington, Georgia; one brother, Lance Taylor of Covington, Georgia; two grandchildren, Kaido Kajandi of Tampa, Florida and Amaila Schneider of Barcelona, Spain; several nieces and nephews; and her fury companion, Chewy.
