Mrs. Sharon Gail Owens, 70, of Woodland Mills passed away 12:35 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Shane Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Sharon was born March 1, 1953, in Memphis, to the late Allen Morton and Fannie Jo (Beard) Morton of Zavalla, Texas. She married Charles Owens, Sr., April 26, 1975. He survives.  Sharon had a passion for the outdoors which she shared with her father and brothers. She was a homemaker and earned an Associate of Arts in Medical Billing in Coding from the University of Phoenix.

She is also survived by five children, Monica (Bryan) Crosser of Nashville, Chris (Stephanie) Owens of Branford, Florida, Charlene (Rico) Torres of Stafford, Virginia, Charles (Charmen) Owens Jr. of Sevierville, and Reidette Hight of Detroit, Michigan; grandchildren: Micheal White of Martin, Dakota White of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Bryce Owens of Nashville, Samantha Hight of Detroit, Michigan, Charles Owens III of Sevierville, Chelsey (Zach) Wyatt of Sevierville, Nicholas Torres of Stafford, Virginia and Keagen Torres of Stafford, Virginia; two great grandchildren, Rhett White of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Sydney White of Paris; and two sisters, Elizabeth Morton of Texas and Debbie Anderson and her husband Andy of Zavalla, Texas.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Morton, Michael Morton and Eric Morton; and one sister, Monica Krnavek.
