Sarah Lee Watkins, 77, of Dukedom passed away 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at St. Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at Good Springs Cemetery near Dukedom. Dr. Ron Cox will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Craig Pirtle, Travis Bayco, Jacob Davidson, Reggie Grissom, Larry Roberts and Kent Bivens.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sarah was born January 5, 1945, in Fulton, Kentucky, daughter of the late Horace Luten and Sarah Virginia (Valentine) Cathey. She married Larry Watkins September 15, 1964. He survives. Sarah had been employed as a nurse, the Dukedom Post Office and was a homemaker. She was a member of Knob Creek Church of Christ and enjoyed scrap booking.

She is also survived by two daughters, Stephanie Pirtle (Craig) of Water Valley, Kentucky and Lisa Davis of South Fulton; one son, Scott Watkins (Laura) of Dukedom; two sisters, Donna Grissom (Reggie) of South Fulton and Linda Roberts (Larry) of Dukedom; one brother, Gary Cathey (Phyllis) of San Antonio, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herb Cathey.
