Sarah Simmons' Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Mae Simmons, 90, of Hornbeak passed away 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at her home.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Sarah was born May 2, 1925, in Nashville, daughter of the late David and Girthie (Taylor) Hood. She married Johnny Simmons September 28, 1971. He passed away in 2008. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Elizabeth Tortorici Simmons of Hornbeak; two grandchildren, Jamie Lee Simmons of Ky. and Anna Marie Simmons of Dyersburg; three great grandchildren, Alexis Jade Watts of Dyersburg, Casey Jewel Simmons of Ky. and Carter Lee Simmons of Ky.
She was also preceded in death by one sister.
