Sarah Ruth (Castleman) Moore, 80, of Trenton passed away 9:22 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Perry will officiate. Entombment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Clint Hickerson, Billy Haynes, Nathan Haynes, Bobby Ray, Doug Singleteary and Larry Gardner.

Mrs. Moore was born March 20, 1939, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Berry and Aura Aletha (Harrison) Castleman. She married Dr. Rufus H. Moore December 21, 1960. He preceded her in death December 25, 2011. Sarah had been employed as a receptionist in the medical field and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Trenton and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mike Scott of Medina; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Julie Moore of Bogota; and two granddaughters, Chloe Cates of Medina and Kady Moore of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Aletha Ann Wiley.
