Sarah Chandler's Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Frances Chandler, 92, of Union City died 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother James Kinsey will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler was born May 29, 1918, in Obion County, daughter of the late Sam and Helen (Cheatham) Payne. She married Marvin Chandler on April 21, 1945. He died March 30, 1997. She had been employed as a machine operator at the former Brown Shoe Company.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Siddie B. Callis, Sammie Forrester, Peggy Horner and Joy Prather.
